Bring your industry experience into training
Capel Manor College is looking for an experienced land-based professional to join our growing Industry Training team as a part-time Professional Short Course Lecturer / Assessor.
This is a varied, practical role delivering professional training and assessment to individuals and employers across the land-based sector.
Our Industry Training portfolio includes professional NPTC and Lantra programmes across arboriculture and forestry, horticulture and professional landscaping, and agriculture. Courses range from chainsaw, tree climbing and tree inspection qualifications through to pesticides, mowers, tractors, brush-cutters, hedge cutters and other machinery-based training.
About the role
Based primarily at our Enfield Campus, you will deliver high-quality, industry-led short courses and practical assessments for learners and employers.
No two weeks are likely to look exactly the same. You could be delivering practical machinery training, assessing candidates undertaking certificates of competence, preparing equipment for an upcoming course, working with an employer on their workforce training requirements or helping us develop the next addition to our professional course portfolio.
If you are an experienced land-based professional who enjoys developing others and wants to put your industry knowledge to work in a varied training and assessment role, we would love to hear from you.
The actual salary for this role is £11,524 - £12,756 for Unqualified Lecturers and £13,458 - £17,757 for Qualified Lecturers, inclusive of London Weighting
