We are seeking a motivated and organised Commercial and Events Coordinator to join our Commercial Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering and growing our commercial portfolio – from venue hire and visitor experiences to large-scale events and partnerships.
About the role
You will act as the sales and operations lead for our commercial activities, generating income through venue hire, school visits, group bookings, animal experiences, and memberships. You will also support the planning and delivery of our annual events programme across Capel Manor College, Capel Manor Gardens, and Forty Hall Farm – ensuring every event runs smoothly, safely, and successfully.
This is a varied and hands-on role that combines sales, event coordination, and customer service. You will liaise with clients from enquiry to delivery, coordinate logistics across departments, and help ensure every visitor and client has a memorable experience.
About you
You will have previous experience in an events or customer-facing coordination role, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. You will be confident managing multiple projects, communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, and ensuring all administrative and financial processes are completed accurately and on time.
A flexible approach is essential – weekend and occasional evening work will be required to support events.
