  • About The Role and Person

  • An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Horticulturist, with a passion for training and inspiring young people.  As a Resource Technician, you will support the teaching staff and students across all courses within the College’s specialist Horticulture programmes, including resourcing plant material, course equipment, maintaining practical equipment and gardens/grounds.

    The ideal candidate will have a range of industry skills including the ability to operate, maintain and repair horticultural machinery with some experience working in the training/education sector.  A Level 2 qualification in horticulture is required, and a PA1/PA6 Certificate is desirable.

Generous Annual Leave

Academic staff and those on Leadership and Management scales receive 45 days of leave. Business and Learning Support staff get 30-32 days, with an additional five days after four years of service. All entitlements include bank holidays
